Starting beginning of May 2016 I’m hiking the Continental Divide Trail from the US / Mexico border up to the US / Canadian border.

The Continental Divide National Scenic Trail (Continental Divide Trail or CDT) runs 5,000km (3,100 miles) following the continental divide through New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming, Idaho and Montana.

This trail is a lot less popular than the PCT I completed in 2015. According to available official information about 200 hikers attempt a thru-hike each year, but this year is already “very busy” with about 300 hikers starting from the southern terminus.
